Spring is a series of personal experimental illustrations for combing collage, gouache, and digital painting.
The subject was inspired by the post-covid spring scenery and atmosphere I felt in New York City. The city was cold and gray, like the years before, but strangely, there was a sense of liberation in people's conversation and movement.
I wanted to capture that weird moment in human history.
